OK, the "cleanup msconfig" utility the other poster had you download won't
help and has nothing to do with your issue. This is a new one - I've never
seen the utility itself start up with Windows, but live and learn. ;-)
Here are some things to try:
1. Do a System Restore to a time before you did whatever it was you did.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time". Pick one of the dates in bold that
is before the problem but not too far back in time.
2. If that doesn't work, since the Utility is coming up anyway look on its
Startup tab to see what is set to run.
