Dear,
(I am moving this from answers.microsoft.com because I did not get any substantial help from there)
I use EFS and enabled encryption on the OneDrive local folder. It always worked as expected: if I create a file on the folder it is locally encrypted and uploaded successfully to OneDrive cloud (unencrypted, of course), if I create a file in another
machine and upload to OneDrive cloud it is downloaded and then locally encrypted.
But some time ago downloaded files stopped being encrypted! So I have an EFS enabled folder... with some unencrypted files in it!
I?m currently using 18.166.0816.0005 (18.131.0701.0004 in the original question) but previous versions had the same behavior... I would say the versions in use by the beginning of the year were working as expected, but that is a guess.
Folders
\AppData\Local\OneDrive
\AppData\Local\Microsoft\spw
are encrypted as well, among others.
Same version in another machine is OK.
Many thanks for your kindly help!
