Windows 10 No Network Status and WiFi Tab in Windows 10 Internet and Network Settings and neither Edge nor Windows Update works

If you notice all below issues on your Windows 10 computer then try the suggested solution which fixed and recovered all affected computers in my company after Nov 2018 Microsoft Patches. Still ignore why this issue affected some computers.

Edge does not open any web site and threw the following error message:

Hmmm...can’t reach this page Try this Make sure you’ve got the right web address: http://google.com Search for " http://google.com " on Bing Refresh the page Details There was a temporary DNS error. Try refreshing the page. when running windows update, the following error message is displayed:

When running Windows Update, the following error message is displayed:

There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070422)

The network status does not show the connectivity status:




Solution to above issue to check the service "Network List Service" is running. If not set the service start mode to manual then reboot the computer.
