Windows 10 Start Menu not working after Windows 10 April 2018 update (1803)

I updated my operating system to the latest windows update, the windows 10 april 2018 update (1803 - 17134.48) and nwo the Start Menu is not working anymore.


I have tried many different things from different suggestions but none work.


I would greatly appreciate your help on this issue as I am not able to launch any application found under the Start Menu of the taskbar.
