We are updating our computers to 1803, and one thing that popped up was that the touch keyboard icon is no longer defaulted to being on the taskbar. I know that you can right click on the taskbar to add it, but we are a school district that does not allow the taskbar to be right clicked by students.
I know there are RegEdits that may add the icon to Current User. That is not viable to us, since if we set this as a startup script, it fails because students are also not allowed to edit the registry, and startup scripts are done using that user's credentials.
I have also tried a couple of Local Machine RegEdits that were suggested, but none of those added the icon.
