Windows 10 Upgrading Windows 10 April 2018 Update (Version 1803) to 10 October 2018 Update (Version 1809) How To?

Hi There,

I have an issue regarding using .NET Framework as a prerequisite as part of one of our installation routines. Currently the install checks HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Net Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full for the Release value, 461814.

If the value is anything less than that, the 4.7.2 install is fired. However, when the install fires on Version 1803, it errors as the .NET Framework is already in place (461808 according to

Is there a way to upgrade Windows 10 1803 to 1809? Is this done via Windows Updates?

We've tried updates on the problematic machine, but it will not upgrade to 1809. Is there some reason why this does not update to the latest release or in this case 1809?
