I have a general rule about not updating my school computer because no matter what updates are installed something always breaks and I spend the next few weeks either getting used to new bugs or finding work arounds. This time, however, an update to my computer was done by the school tech geeks and I didn't have much say as to when it would happen. This one was the worst yet.
It just finished updating (today, 24 Dec 2018) and I have already discovered a glitch. I can no longer search or files. Oh, the search option is still there, but the results always come up with "No items match your search," despite there clearly being files with my search terms.
I cannot attach an example because my account is not yet verified.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
I am running Windows 10, version 1809, installed 24 Dec 2018, osbuild 17763.195.
