Good morning,
I state that I have no experience with the procedures involved in BitLocker, I ask support for the following problem.
My PC
Win 10 1607 LTSB
2 HDD (operating system on disk C + Documents on disk D), both protected by BitLocker.
My MB Asus Prime x470 does not have the hardware-like TPM chip. The TPM is virtualized by the BIOS.
BitLocker is configured to unlock HDD during login.
The system disk has the option to 'suspend BitLocker'. Disk D does not have the suspend option, but has '' Remove password '' and disables BitLocker ''
TARGET and clean installation of Win 10 1809 LTSC
Reactivation of the second HDD (disk d dedicated to data and protected by BitLocker)
Question
What is the safe procedure to achieve the goal (bios update + clean installation new version Win 10 1809 LTSC without having to decrypt the disk D.
Thank you and happy 2019 to everyone
