Windows 7 Windows 7 won't boot - C0000139 Entry Point Not Found

OK, I got a rootkit virus on my old Win7 machine. When I removed the virus, it fixed the DLL where the virus lay in wait, but it didn't fix the call to the DLL entry point. Surely there is a way to fix Windows 7 startup so that it doesn't call any special entry points in DLLs?
