Is anyone out there having an issue with default apps reverting to the Microsoft recommended apps after applying the May patches? I.E web browser reverting to edge, pdf viewer reverting to edge, mail app reverting to mail, media player reverting to groove etc
We applied the patches to about 20 Win 10 Pro v1703 and v1709 machines overnight and some (but not all) of the people using their machines had some or all of their default apps reverted.
Also want to note that the settings widget randomly crashes when you click on "set default by app."
Not seeing any chatter on these kbs (other than the RDC issues). I feel that Microsoft was on the stick with patch stability for a while, but the last 12 months or so the QC has gone out the window.
