Hello, I'm not sure if this is a Windows issue or an Outlook issue. I believe this happened after my latest windows update.
The most recent feature update is build 1809 that was installed on 1/23. There was also a .NET installed on 1/29 (KB4481031).
I'm not sure if this caused it but I only noticed it recently and it is on multiple machines. The new mail icon for Outlook does appear in the system tray however, I have to click the arrow to expand it. I normally have this set in the windows settings to always display. I can no longer see the icon in the list of icons to select though. It has disappeared. It is the only one I have noticed this happen with.
Here is an image showing the new mail envelope
Though this doesn't show all of the items in the list, be assured I have looked closely and the new mail icon is not visible in this list to always show.
Does this seem like a Windows issue and if so, can anyone provide any insight into how to debug and fix it? Or does it seem like an Outlook issue?
Thanks!
Kyle
