Hello,
I have a strange issue and i want to ask your solutions.
I configure roaming profiles with redirected folders as follows:
Roming profiles configurations:
1) Create a new gpo(roaming) and configure thoses settings:
2) Create share folder with appropriate permisssion
3) for each AD user account, set the profile path to \\share\profiles\%username%
Folder redirection
1) Create a new gpo(redirection) and configure thoses settings:
2) Create share folder with appropriate permisssion
3) for each AD user account, configure network drive to point to redirected folders.
Every work well untill a day, a user complain that he is not see his files and settings.
Desktop, Documents are almost empty.
Investigation give us that the yesterday night, when logging off, some files were not copied to the server(id 1509, source: User profile general) anf the morning, the log report that "profile is not properly synchronized with the server. Windows will load a previously saved local profile instead"(event id 1540 , source:user profile service)
The user try to reboot many times whithout recover his files. Looking to the server, the files were also dissapear, and contains now the only files resided on the machine(laptop).
Is there a way to recover the files?
