Hi,
I am using windows 10 enterprise. I am using this machine to work on Weblogic portal server 32bit and eclipse along with java 1.6 32bit.
RAM in my machine is 16 GB.
I have a very peculiar problem when i set the maximum memory arguments to jvm as anything greater than 790. Jvm crashes saying "cannot create java virtual machine. could not reserve heap space".
I see this error even if more then 10GB RAM is free in my machine.
My colleague who has windows 7, he can give as much as 2048 as the java heap space with same 1.6 32 bit java and 32 weblogci server.
and in his case, there are no errors creating jvm.
I don't understand what stops jvm to use the free memory available and why it happens only in windows 10 and not in windows 7.
