Lexmark printer with display indicator
"Cover Open" got struck. None of the
button on the panel works.
The cover appears to be in proper
place.

Should I rush to store to buy
new one ...... ?
Thanks for an rarly advice.

Re: Lexmark Printer

Have you asked Lexmark about it, I don't see how this is a WinME problem.

It depends on the extent of the damage caused by the blow.
Maybe it can be corrected. I surely would take it back to the store, unless
you're able to do it yourself.

Re: Lexmark Printer

AAH,
Not to do with your problem, just a note to let you know that
Lexmark printer's software has what is commonly accepted as spyware embedded
in it. Actually, it just 'phones home' giving up information on the
printer's usage, so they say. There is a way to disable it, but, I would
have to search for it again. You can find it by Googling 'Lexmark spyware'
or something to that order.
Heirloom, old and just some FYI
