Hello, Just recently our Windows 10 workstations started behaving differently after applying updates. It seems now, all of a sudden the workstations will apply updates, but no longer reboot after automatically. I find myself using systems that have had cumulative update (CU) applied and pending reboot, as a result experiencing all kinds of issues. Sometimes this goes on for weeks and the workstation isn't rebooted before the next CU is already approved for release.
It was my original intention to have all systems rebooted after updates were installed every day at 3 AM. Regardless of a user being logged in or not. We have all systems behind a WSUS server and updates are approved by an administrator every Tuesday or so. The GPO to apply update behavior has not been modified, I suspect that the Windows 10 update behavior was changed with a CU, but I can't confirm.
