A few of my users, seemingly randomly, are receiving a pop-up message asking them if they trust the printer that they are trying to print to and, if they do, they need to install a driver (requiring admin credentials). If they cancel the message and wait a couple of minutes, they will be able to print without that message popping up. Like I said, it seems random and, so far, I haven't had a repeat complaint. I work at a school so these users have been using the same computers and printers since late August and only now is this happening.
The computers are running Windows 10 1809 64-bit. The printers are HP DeskJet M402dw's connected wirelessly to a print server running 2012 R2.
From what I have been reading so far, I have the "Point and Print Restrictions" group policy set to Disabled so that this prompt doesn't pop up. What else can I try to keep this message from popping up? Thank you in advance for the help.
