Hallo,

We have deployed OneDrive for Business in our environment. We have also configured a GPO to Silently move Windows know folders to OneDrive.

On Windows 10 this works 100%. My problem is on Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 where the policy does apply - confirmed it with GPRESULT and checked the relevant registry settings, but the Desktop - and Document folders are not moved to OneDrive like on Windows 10.

I took a Windows 7 workstation, went to the OneDrive settings then Data Protection, here I have resoled any errors there were that will prevent the protection of the folder. I closed the window, restarted the workstation, confirmed the GPO applies but the folders still does not move automatically to the OneDrive location.

Anyone else having this problem on workstations running Windows 7 or 8/8.1 and were you able to resole this? I initially opened the thread in the GPO section but was advised to open one here as well.

Regards,

Stian
