Hello:
Ever since Microsoft discontinued image restores (Windows Home Server 2011, Windows Server 2016 Essentials), I have looked for other ways to backup and restore an entire disk image. I can't afford to re-install windows and then spend 2 to 3 days installing my 40 applications, many of which will have license issues if I try to reinstall.
So... I am doing a full image backup in Windows 10 using this path:
Search for File History --> Configure File History --> System Image Backup --> Create System Image
My questions:
When I insert a bare metal disk (no partitions or any data), will the Restore function in Windows 10 create all the partitions and replace all the drivers without requiring me to intervene with any configuration questions?
Thanks,
