Hi,

I have installed Eudora 7.1 on a computer running Windows 10. Everything works fine except that mailto (in a web page, c.g.) opens "Mail" (from Microsoft) and not Eudora. Also, Eudora does not appear as a possible application for handling the mailto protocol (in Settings > Apps...), and Microsoft has removed the possibility to browse and navigate to the Eudora.exe file that resides in C:\Program Files(x86)\Qualcomm\Eudora .

In Windows 7, I was able to correct this by entering the appropriate information in a Registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\mailto\shell\open\command" by keying in "C:\PROGRA~2\Qualcomm\Eudora\Eudora.exe /m %1"

However, this is not sufficient in Windows 10 as mailto still opens "mail" and not Eudora.

I guess more keys need to be modified, but which one(s) ? Incidentally, I try to blank the item "Progid" in the key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Associations\UrlAssociations\MAILTO\UserChoice", but Windows re-created it immediatly.

What can I do to have mailto associated with Eudora 7.1 ?
