Windows 10 OneDrive - Desktop Sync and Multiple Recycle Bins

We are testing OneDrive sync to protect Desktop, Documents and Pictures folders. We are noticing multiple Recycle Bin folders on the Desktop when the sync is configured on more than one system. It appears to simply be a pointer to the other system's $RECYCLE.BIN folder and does not reflect anything that might be in it on the other system.

It is also hidden, so for most users it is of no consequence. Still, it is behavior I would expect to be corrected.

Anyone else experience this?
