Hi all,
We have some Win10 kit on 1709 professional. We use WSUS interally and have not approved any verison upgrades, but these machines have started trying to upgrade to 1809.
I enabled the GPO that "Do not connect to any Windows Update Internet locations" and this caused any check for updates to error. We have this setting applied to some Windows 10 1709 and 1809 enterprise kit, but they don't error.
In the end I stopped it from trying to upgrade by updating the "Select when Preview Builds and Feature Updates are received" GPO to defer for 365 as it was previously set to 0.
The issue is we don't want these machine to update versions. How do we totally prevent them from updating because right now it looks like they will update at some point in the future.
