I use portable apps for everything. That means no installers. Which also means no shortcuts by default in the Windows 10 Start Menu.
I have one program that I use that I cannot get to show up when I search for it via Windows search OR under the All apps section of the Start menu. I've manually added a shortcut to "%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs", rebuilt the search index, and stopped and restarted the Windows Search service. What am I missing here?
