Hey all,
One of our Desktop guys is being locked out of his domain admin account continuously. I have found the problem, the engineer has been using his domain admin credentials when logged on as the local machine admin account, to map a network drive, to install specific software. He has done this on over 50 machines, and now that his domain admin account pass has expired, he is unable to use the account, as all of the machines are now using the stale credentials to authenticate. (Note, these machines have been given to users, and they are logged in using their own domain accounts). I have tried various fixes like clearing cached network creds via GPO, but this has not resolved the issue. I can see that the creds are still in Credential Manager when logged on as the Local admin account. How can these be cleared remotely, without needing the local admin account to be logged on? Any help is much appreciated!
