Any ideas on search lag or failure
"Indexing speed is reduced due to user activity"
Check Outlook and can't open Indexing. Check also Control Panel\All Control Panel Items Indexing and still won't open. Check windows update current but not current version.
Also tried Outlook. File, Options. Search, Indexing options and won't open
Run sfc /scannow and will wait for results.
Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.
Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
Stop search service rename C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search start search service.
After rename search (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows)was 4 GB now 40 MB and building.
Will wait and see if search ok now.
Should I change registry as defined in article
