I did a System Recovery about three months ago on my Acer desktop with windows 8.1 and ever since then it will not complete a update search. This is what came up after a troubleshoot.
The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process.
Hope I'm not posting something in the wrong forum,,I have tried the regular microsoft forum to no avail and had microsoft tech's on three different occassions take remote control and try to fix this problem. Two of which tried to reinstall 8.1 but came to a screeching halt when ask for a product key which really blows my mind,,(you don't have access?)I ask and they soon disappeared.
