Hi Forum,
i manage 30+ Windows 10 Pro installations, all are AD joined and up to date on updates and feature updates(1903). Time by time, Windows reports that the System is offline, shown as a yellow symbol over the Network Icon in the System tray area.
In that cases, the machine is fully online, over IPv4 connected, DNS resolving is working properly. In common terms, the machine is online and working fine.
Ok, by "fine" is meant mostly fine... Some Windows functions don't work at this time:
- Renew the Office365 Password, Window is opening and tells me that the machine is not connected to the internet
- download of language packages
- so on...
The issue is resolving after minutes till hours, and the above mentioned functions are working properly.
And now my question:
-What is measured, that Windows 10 thinks it is offline
-If someone could me guide to the documentation of this "feature"
Regards
Chris
(hope i did select the correct forum - otherwise move me )
