Windows 10 What's the meaning of "From PCs on your local network" of WUDO settings?

Hi!

When the setting is "From PCs on your local network", what is local network? just all devices behind the same public IP (as Microsoft documents say) or at the same time the devices from the same private IP subnet? because the explanation is a little bit vague. We have several remote locations and one WSUS server in center localtion, and we want to know what is the best way to configure WUDO settings for all win 10 devices.
