Windows 10 Local Administrator Account

Our Company just switched over to win 10 on all PCs. If I log onto my PC with the local Administrator account and then open File Explorer, I can unc to the C$ of any PC connected to my network without being prompted for creds. This was not the case with Win 7. Looks like a new feature in win 10 but want to confirm.
