On the WSUS server, the clients are reporting and have updates that need installing. However, on the client machines, the WindowsUpdate.log has the following "Found 0 updates and 105 categories in search; evaluated appl. rules of 715 out of 1137 deployed entities". There don't appear to be any errors in the WindowsUpdate.log.
If I manually "Check online for updates form Microsoft Update", then the PC will update; however, the problem remains. The PC still reports "You're not up to date" or when the next updates are published and approved in WSUS, the PC will go back to reporting that it is not up to date. Of about 30 machines, 24 (80%) are doing this. I have been using WSUS for several years with only an occasional problem with 1 or 2 machines, but this is a serious problem.
I have tried searching for similar problems but am not having any luck.
Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong forum; I could not find one that seemed relevant.
Thanks for any help.
