My windows 10 (domain) PC is configured to turn off the display after 5 minutes, and sleep after 15 minutes. I do not have the screen saver configured.
My question is: how do I get it to NOT require a password after the display is turned off after 5 minutes, but ALSO make it require the password after it goes to sleep after 15 minutes?
I've monkeyed with power plan settings, screen saver settings, group policy settings, and "sign in options", but nothing seems to work. I CAN get it to allow either one these combinations:
1. Require the password when the workstation sleeps, and require the password when when the display turns off
2. Do not require the password when the workstations sleeps, and do not require the password when the display turns off
But I can't seem to configure it to do what I want, which is to Require the password when the workstation sleeps, but NOT require the password when the display turns off.
I'm running version 1709 (OS Build 16299.15.)
Any help would be appreciated.
