Clearly there is no fix for this as there are numerous general posts responding to this issue with the standard steps to fix a update issue but everyone replies that none of them work, so we are left with Microsoft to resolve the issue, however....

It's been over a month and apparently nothing has been done as it has not been updated since that date. Anyone know what is up with this and how long we'll have to wait?

With a helpful translation link to english which states to examine the CBS log file found here C:\Windows\Logs\CBS which I did and found that it appears some .net assemblies might be missing.
This seems like a resolvable issue, has anyone dug any deeper into this and could we maybe find a way to get the relevant missing assemblies repaired or replaced or installed?
