Windows 10 Is it possible to use group policy to change the lockscreen to a specific slideshow rather than one image?

Hi All,

I've been trying to create a group policy that sets the lockscreen of our computers to a slideshow of corp images. Under the computer configuration sections there are a several prevent settings regarding the lockscreen and nothing under the user config. I have tried changing the settings via regedit. Here are the changes I've made:

  • Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  • Key Path: Software\microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Lock Screen
  • Value name: SlideshowEnabled
  • REG_BINARY: 1

  • Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  • Key Path: Software\microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Lock Screen
  • Value name: SlideshowDirectoryPath1
  • REG_SZ: \\network\folder\Lockscreen...

This hasn't changed the lockscreen and worst it seems to be delaying the time it takes to switch to the login screen. Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is there another set of lockscreen keys that I've missed? Any help would be appreciated!

Window specs

  • Edition: Windows 10 Enterprise
  • Version: 1903
  • Build: 18362.30

Kind Regards,

Shesawrus.
