Dear all,
After upgrading to windows 10 1803, the classic WER window doesn't appear when any application going to crash.
From the previous windows version (1703) we have the DontShowUI reg key under this path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting
But It seems doesn't have any effect.
After some research in the Registry Editor, I've tried to put the DontShowUI Reg Dword in the new Key
"Windows Error Reporting"
Under the following path:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\
Now it works.
Before to create a gpo that apply this new key on all the domain machines, I want to know:
- Is that the correct method to still have the WER window on windows 10 (1803) after an applications crash?
- If not, which is the correct way?
