I am developing a driver for my communications device and I have some junk that got stuck in the registry that is preventing me from fully testing the installation. I cannot remove it.
In the old days you used to be able to go into the registry and change the permissions of the key then delete it. That doesn't work.
I have tried the "take ownership" method and that doesn't work.
I have also tried the my.scr method and that doesn't work as well.
Can anyone tell me how to delete a junk registry key? In case it helps the key in question is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\FSCC_00040000_0
