Preceeding every BSOD I noticed this event logged in event viewer
The description for Event ID 56 from source Application Popup cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
SCSI
000000
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
I've already run Memory Diagnostics which found no memory problems. I ran chkdsk with no disk problems. I updated the BIOS, all my drivers, uninstalled any unnecessary programs but the problem keeps happening. I am left with an unstable system that can crash at any time. I even restored a previous image and this still happens, updated all my video and sound drivers, motherboard chipset drivers, etc. This started happening a week ago so maybe I have a hardware problem masquerading as something ese and memory diag can't find it.
