This is the email who sent me the notice *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and the phone number listed on the notice is 425-382-5992 it is supposedly from Microsoft Technical Support Online Remote Tech Support Division located in Cape Canaveral FL. The notice reads The on 1/8/20145 I had a pop-up appear on my computer form a company named ONEBIT IT . At which time I responded not knowing it was a scam for them to repair my computer. Now Microsoft is telling me to call them to repair my computer of this spyware. I have changed my computer since then and not sure if I should call the phone # or email them back since they are claiming even if I changed my computer I should have Microsoft repair my computer. Please advise what I should do. Is there a direct phone number to Microsoft for me to check out the above phone number and legitimacy of this with Microsoft directly. I can't seem to find a phone number online to call Microsoft Tech support directly and I do not want to call the phone number given to me in the email in the event this is also a scam.
