Windows 10 Roaming mandatory profile after recent update cannot log off

After applying cumulative update kb4522355 when a roaming mandatory profile user goes to log off, it sits at a spinning wheel saying Please wait for User profile service. Non-roaming profile users are not affected.

They sit and spin for hours. It only seems to be a problem on 1 type of machine - hp4300 - but I am not certain.

If I uninstall that update, it functions as normal.
