Click Start > Run, type in: msconfig and press Enter or click Ok.
Click the Startup tab.
Look for the app in the list and uncheck it.
If the app still starts on boot then it has an option in the app that needs to be
disabled.
What email application do you use? Run it, check the menus for preferences or
options and check to see if there is an option to run on startup.
If there is and it's selected, unselect it.
Click Start > Programs > StartUp to see if there is a shortcut to the app present.
If there is Right click on the shortcut and click Delete in the popup menu.
