Windows 10 Storage Spaces: No warning on disk failure?

I just recently ditched Intel RST Rapid Storage Technology For Simple 2 Way Mirror With Storage Spaces. Intel Rapid Storage was great. But I liked the benefits of the new REFS file system AND the cross compatibility of the windows raid.

So I just set up the 2 Way Mirror and pulled the plug on one of the drives to see what happens. ANDDD Nothing...

No notification. No Popup. Doing a little research I found this thread. Is this STILL an issue?
