Hello,
I am using a Lenovo G40 laptop running Windows 8.1.
The Touchpad malfunctions when the laptop is connected to mains power. The malfunctioning of the Touchpad ceases the instant the mains lead is disconnected from the computer.
The nature of the malfunction is that the pointer moves only with some difficulty, windows close unexpectedly, it is rather difficult to open folders, the pointer occasionally grabs items (click and drag) without user input while attempting to move the pointer.
The computer can be connected to mains and all such functions can be operated normally, but only by connecting a mouse. When a mouse is connected, then either the Touchpad or the Mouse, can be used normally.
Hoping for a solution to this rather strange issue.
Thank you.
Robert339.
