Hello,

Last night Windows 10 thought it's a good idea to wake the PC 4 times during the night, so forgive me if i'm pissed off (you would be like this as well).

Tracked down the reason for this running "powercfg/lastwake" and the result was simply:

Wake History Count - 1
Wake History [0]
Wake Source Count - 1
Wake Source [0]
Type: Wake Timer
Owner: [SERVICE] \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\System32\svchost.exe (SystemEventsBroker)
Owner Supplied Reason: Windows will execute 'NT TASK\Microsoft\Windows\UpdateOrchestrator\Reboot' scheduled task that requested waking the computer.

So I went to Task Scheduler to turn off the bloody thing but guess what, I could not do so because it requires some kind of credentials. I have 3 user names listed there:

- S-1 5-18 (don't know what that is)

- my account email (outlook) that I used to login here and on my windows machine as well.

- 1334a8730c6a3ab0 (of course I don't know what this is as well)

I selected my email account, typed in my login password and it did not work "An error has occurred for task Reboot. Error message: The following error was reported: The supplied variant structure contains invalid data.". I then tried to enter the user name that appears in cmd with the same password I use to login to Windows, but again, same error. Maybe I'm using the wrong username, I don't know. It's good to say that I'm the only user on this PC, I have administrator rights, I started Task Scheduler as "run as administrator".

This issue has been with me for a long while now, but last night I really needed my sleep but Windows decided not to let me, so yeah: Thanks!

Is there a way I can turn off that setting from registry? (forgot to say that I am using Sleep for my PC)

(again, sorry if I said something inappropriately but I am pissed off)
