I've been using a Ledger program for years on Windows 7 and now Windows 10, over 7 years. Windows Defender, as of today, Jan 1, 2020, suddenly thinks it has a Trojan virus and quarantined it. - Trojan:Win32/Fuery.C!cl. I was in the middle of putting in some data, after many hours! and didn't want to lose the work... so I recovered it and kept working till done. Now I've printed it off and also sent a copy to Dropbox. I truly don't want to lose this file.
What should I do now? Should I actually delete the file? What about the entire program (by the way, it's not an app, so not connected to internet). Can a file on a program suddenly 'get' a virus after I've been working in it for a full year? Or, why didn't Defender detect it earlier?
