Running Windows 10; Check for updates shows I'm "up to date"
File History is configured and pointing to an external 2 TB drive. File History shows "File History is on".
Opening Explorer, the external drive's FileHistory folder has 400+ GB in it.
When I click on "Restore personal files, Home - File History opens up.
I see previous versions of selected files from various File History runs (207 as of this writing). Picking one I know I've modified, when I click on "Previous Version (Ctrl + Left Arrow)", I can locate several instances of the file.
So when I open Explorer and right-click on the file for its Properties then go to the Previous Versions tab, why does the Previous Versions tab fail to find anything?
It seems very awkward to need to wade through Home - File History to find an earlier instance of a specific file.
