I'm trying to install an application in Windows 7, and get this message:



Unable to write to the temp directory in

c:\Users\René\AppData\Local\Temp

Check that you have write access to this directoy



I've gone to the directory, and made my user owner with full access rights to the directory. However, it still lists as read only, and even if I change it, after it's done setting it to not-read-only, it still is!



I'm at my wits end, anyone have a solution? I've looked at
