Hello Everyone,

This is my first post here and I am reaching out because I have been noticing an unusual behavior in my Windows 10 PC recently and was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue. I normally shut down my PC over night and upon the first startup of the day for my PC the "System" process seems to go completely haywire and will take up a single core of my CPU and just sit there churning. I tried waiting it out but it never seems to settle down even after a couple of hours. I have also noticed that if i start up the PC, see the "System" process go crazy and then restart the PC maybe 3 minutes after logging in the first time, the second time I log into the PC the "System" process is perfectly fine and my CPU usage returns to practically zero at idle. I am not sure when this behavior started but I don't recall it behaving this way in the past.

OS: Windows 10 Pro
Processor: Intel i7-7700k
RAM: 32.0 GB
Main Disk: Samsung 970 EVO
MotherBoard: ASUS Maximus IX HERO
Graphics: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G

If anyone has any ideas that would be very helpful.
