Windows 10 Problem with development in Microsoft Edge Extension

I developed an Edge extension for a product in my company. The product is an installable application that has to be installed in a Windows environment and can be accessed from any standard web browser. The extension is for easy access to the product. When the product is installed in a domain machine and tried to be access from another domain machine, I am not able to access the server URL from Edge extension. However, when the URL is accessed from Edge browser normally, it is accessible. I tried importing valid certificate too. It doesn't help. When the URL is accessed from Edge extension from a machine outside the domain, like a workstation, it works fine. The browser extension works fine in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers.
