Windows 10 After reboot problems opening Microsoft webpages: access denied

When this computer was turned off overnight and restarted the following day there were access denied to many Microsoft URL.

How do you troubleshoot this problem?

Copy and paste into IE explorer opens the webpages now.

Refreshing using Firefox continues to display access denied.

If this is browser specific why would it happen only with some Microsoft links and not others?
