I am experiencing issues with multiple programs failing due to their inability to save to the documents folder of an administrator account. I myself and certain other support teams have come to the conclusion that the programs are failing due to a Read Only Attribute in not only the Documents folder , but all subsequent sub-folders as well.
When you go to properties and uncheck the Read Only Attribute box and click apply, the permission reverts itself to being re enabled immediately.
I have researched extensively and tried multiple suggested solutions, all to no avail.
I tried changing the ownership, changing the advanced properties of both the folders and the root of the drive itself. i tried the atrrib command from the command prompt etc....
i found a few similar questions here on technet, but they were either left unanswered or the solutions simply didn't correct the issue.
