Today, like many, I've received the email from Microsoft about Live Mail no longer being supported.
Questions:
1. Can I still carry on using it as I have been? I don't mind if it's not 'supported' just as long as it continues to work.
2. How long for - will it suddenly stop working?!
The reason I ask is that the new APP that Microsoft wants us to use doesn't work for me. I'm on Windows 7 and do not want to upgrade to 10 due to many of my expensive programs not being compatible. Further, it doesn't allow you to send emails to a groups - I'm a business owner and have several groups of contacts including over 1000 people in one group for our mailing list.
I note that the Outlook download is free for a year, then about £50 per year after that. I refuse to pay for something when what I'm using is free and works absolutely perfectly!
I currently use Live Mail to manage my private emails as well as my business ones, so they're all on one screen and easy to instantly access without faffing about logging in to Outlook online.
Why oh why do you do this to your customers, Microsoft? If it ain't broke don't fix it! And if you do change something at least make it equal to or better than its predecessor. All I can see is that what you're forcing on us is a backward step.
Hope to get some responses, particularly to the two questions.
Thanks
