Windows 10 storage pool errors.

So I recently bought a new external drive to replace my old one. So I recovered most of my data from my old drive then went to create a new storage pool with the new one.

But when I do so, I get an error message saying "Can't prepare drives- close all applications using the drive." (Error code is 0x00000005) Is there a way for me to fix this or not?

To help further the drive is a seagate BUP slim SCSI drive 1TB. It's formatted as a backup, any answers for this problem is much appreciated.
